The length of how long I get on it is directly proportional to how much of a moron the person it is aimed at, is being.
Like if someone is not paying attention, and light turns green, I usually give them 2-3 seconds before I will give a very brief notification just so they look up.
If it is something that could have resulted in a serious accident, I will lay on it like it is going out of style. I had a woman in a minivan switch lanes, right into me, I had to swerve into the shoulder. I was on it the whole time she was turning into my lane, she just kept going. I ended up flooring it in the emergency lane and getting ahead of her, all the while on the horn.
Mind you she wasn't like slightly ahead of me before starting to turn, we were right next to each other.
