I think the difference is most of us had a first car. It wasn't very nice. It got beat up. Now on our X number BMW, we wouldn't worry so much about something like this. You made the mistake of buying a brand new BMW without being mature enough to let life happen to it.
Damage to our cars pains us all. We love our cars. But we fix it. We move on. To you, this car is like the first girl you had sex with... I mean, at some point you will, and you'll understand. But to the rest of us, as much as we like the car, it's just another car.
