Fortunately I have the option for a flexible schedule. I'm fortunate to have a job that allows me to not drive in predicted traffic times i.e. morning or evening rush hour. Start your day around 9 or 10 and be home by 4 and you avoid much traffic. Plan business meetings near your residence. It can be done, even in Houston.
