I wouldn't say that they are life changing but I can definitely feel a difference.
1)Takes only about 30 minutes.
2) You don't need a short shifter, but if you don't mind the extra effort I feel that the short shifter modification would rekindle your passion for driving.
3) No downsides during daily drives. NVH feels the same as stock imo
