I had this exact same BS service tactic used on me by European Performance in Raleigh, NC for my old Porsche. Can't stand stealerships that run their business like that. I moved on and got a far better price and excellent service experience from the P-car dealership (Porsche Southpoint in Durham) along with a full day test drive of the then new 991.1 Carrera.
. Luckily, it's a free market and we can go choose a better alternative.
