My guess is that the M2 will start right around 50K. IIRC, the 1M was like 47K in the US without any options. M2 will demand an increase in that pricing, but I don't think that BMW would want to break the psychological 50K barrier as a starting point. This is supposed to be the "affordable" M car line after all.

M235 will probably be 43K to start and be right around 50K with the options most people get.

So you can get a stripper M2 or a relatively decked out M235 for around 50K..at least that's my bet.
