I typically keep the rubber mats in the car all year long. A while back, before I had rubber mats in one of my older cars, I had a gallon of milk tip over after a trip to the grocery store. The lid leaked and the milk got absorbed into the mat. In North Carolina having milk on the carpet is not a good thing. I'll take a look at the weathertech stuff to see what they have.
