Scrape1, this is handy. I only see two options in this list that could possibly indicate the extra radiator:
1). Blow-By Heizer Blow-by heater
S544A
Is this second radiator the "Blow-by heater"?
2). Heissland-Ausführung Hot-climate version
S845A
All NA cars should have this standard. But maybe that's not the case with F22s?

So this is definitely something that affects both 228is and M235is. It's not engine- or model-dependent.
