People buy cars for different reasons, everyone had different priorities (just look how varied the options people choose are!)
Sadly car forums have become a world of people justifying their own purchasing decisions.
I couldn't care less if some blokes I have never met, that will never likely actually own any of these cars rate my car top of the pile or dead last not scoring a single point on their own made up points table…
I'm a 30yr old bloke that wants a classy coupe, not a rally rep with gold wheels and a massive tea tray stuck to the boot.
I also value an engine's character and delivery over outright power or 0-60 times. This makes the Merc a no go for me. As does the fact I can't have a manual box.
Those two cars wouldn't make my short list just down to what is important to me, which is all I really care about
