German cars are known for having average or below average reliability in general, especially when compared to the likes of Toyota and Honda. The excessive engineering that goes into them makes this the case. Is this what makes them loads better than the average Camry, undoubtedly. I will never drive a used German engineered vehicle without a warranty, ever.
