I used one for mine. If I recall the bt rev 3 had a grey wire and a red power wire. They grey wire had a plug on the end the plugs directly into the jb4. You have to take the jb4 case apart to connect.
Then I believe there was a red power wire. I screwed that into the end of the positap and then tapped one of the red power wires coming off of the jb4 harness.
Oringinally I think I did this external, but then I realized there was enough space inside the enclosure. Now I have the positap inside the enclosure for a cleaner look and protection .
I believe there are two red wires in the jb4 harness. I think I googled it and found out that it recommends connecting to a certain one and identified it by the d-sub number.
As mentioned above I'd check with bms. Take some pictures of the harness and send to Terry.
