Other things that come to mind,
-Is jb4 getting consistent power, did you positap correct red wire?
- did you plug in that small connector from obd2 to jb4 correctly. There are 4 little prongs, but only 2 have electrical contacts. I think you can plug together backwards.
-all of the connections are firmly connected
-latest version of firmware
