Man, I've been looking for a 245 square setup FOREVER. I'm considering OZ Leggera HLT's 18x8 ET45 from Tire Rack and wrapping them in the Michelin Pilot Sport 4S 245/35/18. No plans on lowering the car. Based on your post the 245/35 on the 18x8s clean up the wheel gap perfectly.
I'm slightly worried at ET45, I'd be closer to the strut than you were at ET43. How much clearance did you have on the fender side? Trying to decide if I need spacers here to have some comfortable clearance / keep it flush to the fenders without poking too much.
