Some manufacturer sometimes are behind on updating their information just because they are not putting their efforts.
But then, that's why they give discount to their dealers or resellers to compensate the work on taking care the end user, not just a pure profit or margin where it is being used to beat each other up with price war.

Thing is I took the information directly from aFe's website and they don't make that observation about the year of manufacturing... then I went to amazon.com and purchased it and not from an amazon marketplace seller, but directly from amazon
