It's not unusual for the charge pipe on BMWs to break. Especially if it has to be removed for some reason. Unfortunately that has been a trend since BMW went turbo over a decade ago. You would think they would beef them up more by now.

Interesting, that's good to know. That does seem pretty strange for it to still be happening-it's not a cheap part...
