I really wish there was a video comparing the M235 and M2 in a side by side race. I've seen magazine 1/4 mile trapspeeds in the M2 range from 109-112mph depending on transmission. The M235 (transmission dependant) has shown 106-109mph.
The video definitely is proof that what feels quicker/faster isn't necessarily the case or at least, not as dramatic as one thinks. Noise/vibration/harshness and the shape of powerband can greatly impact one's perception of speed.
