Exactly and I'm not even sure the springs would be necessary, just perhaps a few parts to add a bit more front camber. Also, throw on a basic tune to get the power somewhat level with the M2. I'm pretty certain you'd shed 3 seconds easily with those mods.

The M2 is a freaking awesome car (love to have one), but some act has if it's the Second Coming compared to the M235.

Lastly, VIR was a different track when the 2014 M235 ran it. The track has had some turn changes and it's been resurfaced. On average, it's about 1.3-1.5 seconds quicker now thus it's hard to draw comparisons from laps prior to 2015.
