When you're out in the desert driving with the windows down at 80mph with a helmet on - all you really hear is wind
. Unless the car is significantly louder via the exhaust note itself, it'll generally be pretty quiet. Plus the N55 motor is so smooth, its hard to really feel it purring at 6K RPM which makes it even more "quiet".
