So BMW is afraid of bringing something in below the three series because it would undercut 3 series sales?
Maybe if the three series actually stayed E90 size or smaller, then the 4 series coupe and gran coupe (built to be longer than the 3) would have made sense in filling the gap between the 3 and 5. Not only that, it would have actually made sense numbering instead of the scramble of numbers it now is.
