Sounds like dealer install after arrival. I choose to believe an M2 will arrive in 2-3 years but until then, the M Performance parts get it pretty close to what an M2 would be.

Here are some guesses on M-performance pricing:

$44k for M235i "base", but likely will be pretty loaded up
$2500 + install for LSD (probably the only must have factory upgrade)
$1800 for 19" wheels
$1200 for Pilot Super Sports for new wheels
$1200 for suspension (does it take away electronic damper control?)
$3000 for upgraded brakes (probably a waste of money)
______
$53,700 + install costs ($50,700 without brake upgrade)

More predictions:
When an M2 is brought to market I bet it goes with the 1M formula and borrows parts from M4 (as many others have said), except the S55 is detuned to 360hp, 350tq. This will probably be priced $62-65k by the time it comes out. The M4 will start at $75k and go up to $85-90k.

So this M235i right now is priced correctly and is fantastic on paper for those who aren't able to wait several years. For the rest of us, we'll enjoy or current cars for a few more years still.
