WTF.
They jam us with the X1 and 3er GT instead of a reasonably priced 328i wagon (the xi/auto only is like outrageously priced, probably because it has a bunch of standard gimmicks) and a slew of other slow selling odd ball models, but won't offer what seems to me to be a no brainer? I've got news for you, in tight American cities where people buy 328s because it fills their image quota, those buyers will go for the less expensive, smaller and therefore easier to drive cla and A3 sedan over the 328. And if BMW does indeed counter with a stylish 2gc, they will be able to maintain that buyer.
Didn't they just say last week that the m235i is to attract younger buyers until they can afford an M3?
Doesn't makes sense. A 2er gc would definitely sell better than the ATS, cla and A3 ( I only mention the ATS because it's a bit smaller than the current 3er, and a bit less money if optioned cheaply).
