228i LEASE
Just picked up my 228i 2015. What a car, but what aggravation when my sales person told me AT THE PICKUP....the monthly price for 36 months included a never discussed before, capitalization down payment...which he never mentioned before till I was ready to drive out!! (I never put money down, except sometimes sales tax to bring payment down). Now, having moved to California,this was not done, hence, the tax was included in monthly payment for 36 months... (10K miles year)
Making a long story short, the selling price was $40K with options. The payment originally was $449/month with tax included. Included also was small miscellaneous bull taxes, license plate and registration and the phony acquisition fee. (totalling $1400,,.... put towards an initial 1K deposit. I ended up after a huge shouting and argument, paying the $400 to drive out, ,, and a monthly payment of $520 month.. vs. $449 !!!
Driving home, the car was amazing but I still fill bad and like I was taken for a ride! They could not have done that in NYC and gotten away with it!
How bad was this deal???? Comments appreciated.
