I think it is a cool idea, but waaay too expensive to fully do it (as noted - a full redo of exterior). It's not like he has the option of affordable 240 or dropping another 10-20 grand for an M2 like we can in the states (and even that is more than many could do).
I'd just stick with basic exterior upgrades to the sport body - spoiler/splitter, M-series mirrors, and stripe/graphics. Perhaps fender flares and one of those cool new CF hoods if you want to really go wild? Nobody else will have anything like it - one of the main reasons to mod in the first place. And for the interior, check out the thread on here about adding the custom stitching (free and good looking, but you might go blind or crazy completing it).
