I just took delivery of a 2015 228i MSport with the Track Package in the US. The Tires are Michelin Pilot Super Sport non-RFT, which I expected. But the tires are 245/35/ZR18 all around (SQUARE SET-UP) from the Factory. But not the 225s that come with the All-Seasons.

Is this new? Is everyone with the ZTR package in the 228i getting a square set up standard from the factory?

I am very happy that this is so, since I plan on AutoXing and doing some Driving Schools and the square set up makes the car much easier to drive (improved turn in, less understeer).

Appreciate any information the forum members can share!
Hmm, this is interesting. I picked up my 228i just a week ago (also with MSport and THP). I looked at the tires to confirm they are MPSS, but didn't actually pay attention to the sizes. I'll check today when I have time and let you know...

Edit: staggered - 225 fronts and 245 rears
