Separately, I think BMW will lose a lot of business if they don't offer DCT on the M2. But the article does suggest that we're not going to get very close at all to M4 performance, to protect the M4.
I didn't do a direct price translation, I took the UK m235i price and determined percentage wise how much more their M2 starting price guess is (about 30%). I assume the price differences between the two models will be similar in most countries not necessary the actual price conversions.

The difference between the German 335 drive and M3 is about 41% while its about 39% in the US.
