From a technician stand point...that Engine is going to suck lol - Mainly because it's based off the diesel engines...and well BMW Diesel engines are virtually indestructible.
From a consumer/customer stand point - that engine is going to be extremely good in just about every aspect Power/emissions/fuel consumption etc.
Will be interesting to see as time goes on.

Found out my m240i has a minor oil leak. Appointment is set for January 4th. Little disappointing since the car only had 2400ish miles when I noticed the oil leak. Hoping it's nothing big like a loose bolt on the turbo return line or something. I still have high hopes for the b58 motor. I hope you're right about it being indestructible.
