While I probably won't drive it all winter long, mine will be a Midwest car as well.
I'm not big on maintenance. I will do it to keep the car in shape, but I don't find it particularly relaxing unless I find myself on a Saturday with virtually nothing else to do. I'm also coming over from a black Jeep Grand Cherokee with a virtually indestructible paint job, so the change would be even more jarring. Obviously I plan on caring a lot more for the 235 than my current car, as the 235 will be a long-awaited return to something resembling an enthusiast's car; but I don't want to make this harder on myself than it needs to be.
