this is how all of the performance muffler are, m3, e9x, f3x, e7x, every single one.
axel back means the rear axle back..... just muffler.
cat back would be midpipe and mufflers.
as you can see the muffler is already welded to the pipe from the factory,
your not doing anything out of the ordinary
