Runflats may not be the ideal tire for most people under most conditions; however, it's a necessity for me. When I decide to take out my Mz3 to work, 90+ miles roundtrip, I wouldn't want to be stuck somewhere without a spare, nor floor jack (doesn't fit w/o the spare in the passenger seat and the heavy jack in the trunk banging around). I'm not keen on the 'air & stickem' in a can, and I do still carry the OEM mobility kit in the trunk.

Recently, I purchased P Zero rf's and so far have just over 1000 miles (knock on wood). I have a membership with AAA, but would prefer to just drive it home.

I've also purchased one set of rf Blizzak winters for one of my cars, for those days that are really wintry, and the thought of pulling over in a snow bank isn't appealing.
Otherwise, the third car gets PSS's, a spare tire, and lightweight aluminum floor jack.
