given the limited allocations... i've basically seen cars that are either loaded, or stripped.
almost all the m235s i've seen have had a fair amount of options. and the 228s i've seen cars with 0 options to attract the (get a cheap bmw , mostly women crowd) and then 228s that are loaded with premium/nav/track etc.
dealers do order the cars the way they feel will sell best. they could order like all white cars that have no options if they felt that would sell. i've seen some really bizarre stuff when dealers mess up. when i was looking for my f30, i saw one dealer had a 328i m-sport in estoril blue, with brown wood trim and beige interior. it was horrible looking took them forever to sell it
