Rumor has the F80/F82 being lighter than the F30 through the use of aluminum and carbon fiber. There's still an unknow about why the F80/F82 have their own unique chassis numbers, with some hope that it could be an aluminum chassis, like the C6 Z06.
An M2 with a four cylinder, even with larger brakes and an LSD should be relatively easy to make lighter than an M235i with a six. But thanks for the
