Just to throw another log on the fire...
I like many others, was underwhelmed by the stock diffuser on my new 2020 M240 vert. Took the path of least resistance and went with the M-sport diffuser unpainted, and no exhaust modification. Was worried about the tips getting lost, but came away very satisfied with the results. I am older so I prefer a more subtle look, and actually like the way the stock tips are tucked into the flow of the diffuser. Thanks to "leedam" and others who shared their install tips. Really is an easy driveway (single beer) job.
