225/40-18 is the widest tyre that can be fitted to the stock 7.5" wide non-staggered wheels. As I posted in another thread, here is the Michelin tyre specification chart that includes the supported wheel widths: https://www.michelinman.com/upload/m...t-sport-4s.pdf
