The whole point of the m235i is to not "burn the bank".. What are you on, man? "Just get a used one, cheap"? You know, those cheap ones are usually ready for $10-15k in maintenance as well, not to mention we're WAY passed the ability to save at this point. If you want to save, you never buy a full on M car, ever. Worst advice I've ever heard of.

And BTW, the M3 is a great car, we have an M4 in the family, but not what many here were looking for when we purchased our 2's. It is a fast car, but very different experience, and in terms of size, is the new 5-series.. Glad you're happy in your M3, though. And thanks for starting a great thread
