Can't compare the sidewall stiffness since the shop put less air in the RSRR than I run in the RE71.
Finger nail "test" makes me think the RSRR compound is just as soft (maybe slightly softer) than the RE71.
RSRR runs wider than the RE71 (255 vs 255) sidewall to sidewall, but I think the actual tread width is the same. RSRR is heavier too.
