For comparison, I currently have a 2007 M Coupe with 6MT and a 2011 328 with AT, and I hate the AT on the 328 - it's constantly in the wrong gear, never getting up to power when I want it to, etc. so I'm strongly considering the MT because I'm afraid of the AT robbing me of the feel of power in the m240.

It just works...
I dont know the mechanics of it but there must be a sensor in the gate for each gear and it blips appropriately even if you skip a gear like 6 to 4 when coming down an exit ramp
I was a skeptic but I'm totally sold on it....its wonderfully implemented
