I will say not having the moon roof does add some good head room, but the 2 series has a pretty bulbous roof. I am 6'3" and have plenty of headroom. I think you would have to be at least 6'6" to need the extra space.

6'1" plus a helmet pushed me against the moonroof opening, so I deleted it.
