My mistake, I must have been thinking of the 4er design study, not the production car, it did add 0.7".
So in summary, in inches:
E87: 166.9
F20: 170.2
E82:172.2
E36 coupe:174.5
F22 derived: 175.5 (just adding the same 5.2" gain from the E87 to E82)
E46 coupe: 176.7
E90:178.2
E92: 181.9
F30: 182.5
