I know the information we have claims it is coming, but I don't really see it fitting into the marketing/business scheme. Let's say you're looking at a 435i and the M2 is the same price... that's a business dilemma for BMW. I mean, they're not making an ///M version of the F20, so why would they make one of the F22? And certainly, why would they develop an all new 4 cylinder engine for such a limited application? I'm just sayin'....

Since Mercedes launched the A45 AMG and the upcoming CLA45 AMG, I don't think BMW has a choice. Compete or forfeit the market to others.
